The catalogue looks out of date. How do I refresh it?
Pull down on the home screen, or tap the refresh control on the catalogue card. BundleWala also refreshes automatically when the cached data is more than six hours old and you have a connection.
Why do I see 71 packages instead of 286?
That is the offline seed. It is bundled with the app so the catalogue works on a fresh install and with no connection. The full live catalogue replaces it after the first successful refresh.
Why does chat ask me to sign in?
AI chat requires a free account. The guided finder does not — choose “Use the guided finder without signing in” on the gate. Signing in also syncs favourites and tracked packages.
Does the assistant use ChatGPT or another model API?
No. Chat is a deterministic, on-device retrieval and ranking system built on the same catalogue data as the list. No prompt, message or catalogue query is sent to a paid model provider.
Is my voice sent anywhere?
BundleWala does not store or upload audio. Voice input uses your Android device's speech recognition service, which may process audio with Google depending on your device and settings. You can always type instead.
A price or activation code is wrong. Can you fix it?
Yes — send us the network, package name and what you expected to see. We verify corrections against the operator's published offer before updating the catalogue.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, open Profile & settings → Delete account. You can also use the data deletion page or email contact@techshiner.com with the subject “Account deletion request”. We action verified requests within 30 days. Uninstalling the app does not delete a synced account.
Will there be ads or paid plans later?
There are no ads in BundleWala, and the app is built on free infrastructure tiers. If that ever changes, the privacy policy and store listing will be updated before anything ships.

Notification permission is one-shot
Android asks once, at startup. If you decline, BundleWala cannot ask again — enable notifications for the app in Android Settings.
